Well, another fun with logo making/customization.

Depends as well on the head author of related fan series if this would be a temporary place holder, subject for change or immediate for use. *Happy shrug*

Bio:

Name: Shinnosuke Reiji

Partner: Black Agumon

Description: A very enigmatic and shady Tamer shrouded in an equally mysterious agenda. Not much is known about this boy, except his interest regarding Kuga Yuuya and what the latter has been searching.

:iconshrugplz: I dunno how he'll interact with Nicolai Petrov, Akiho Rindou and /or Taiga (Main Character.) Lest we finally get ideas from either the Re: Digitize manga or game.

Slight change in art style intentional. :p

Edit:

Belated Happy Birthday, :iconchromneo:

Hope you'll be able to improve your tracing skills with this.

Also a little practice of mine in terms of perspective view. Will admit, I have a bit of obstacle thinking what Pico/Demi Chessmon looks like in that angle, especially with that "helmet clad "head.

Practice makes perfect they sayeth.

Guess hair and footing level, or pose creates an optical illusion of either short or tall... >_<

Disclaimer: With the exception on the last character to the right, others are official characters drawn by their respective artist.

A little thanks to :iconblueike: for that wonderful and his first DZRe: D stuff made yesterday.

Thank you very much, dear old friend. This is something in return, probably not much, but hopefully it may aid and jump start your artistic prowess and genius in case you have no idea yet on what these three special characters might look like.

Of course, as title says, these are initial design, they may change drastically in the future depending of :iconblueike:'s tastes. Whatever changes these guys will undergo, they will look better in his final design.

Also served as another personal practice in switching my art style to an attempt to match the Durara's Artist/Game's human designer's.

In designing outfit in Re: Digitize for OC's, the inspiration is to harken back to simple and not complex details, paralleling that of the game's utilizing the classic and traditional evolution system.

ZT Tamers will probably blend into the Re: Zone's local human and Digital inhabitants alike, but there's.. One or two details about them that hints that "they are not from this world." (Being humans and Digimon from another parallel universe, of course.)

In my initial take, Dan's outfit is a variation/throwback to his other classic ZT outfit back in.. 2008 (One with black shirt.) or so... Ah, the good old days. *sighs* He wears either a sleeveless or short sleeved black muscle shirt underneath the vest.

Melody's quite a challenge for me. She's as old more or less with her Time Hunters appearance; a new hair style for variety, her outfit's kinda something to match against the super fanservicey flair of Akiho Rindou. *Drools*

Ray's outfit is a homage to Digimon World 1's main character, Hiro. Minus the bonnet and a few new details. Back pack also stores the ZT party's items like portable potties, medicines, steaks and paramater chips etc.

Not sure if Melody and Ray'are older come Re: Zone. I maybe mistaken.

I missed making a manga, maybe next upload would be...

Original size for the image I made with the fiction. Didn't personally knew you couldn't have both big images and text Deviation at once.

Edit: I have decided to merge both the original sized image above and the separate fiction into one Deviation altogether. This is fortunately due to DA graciously allowing nearly infinite numbers of characters in the Artist's Comment box, so might as well utilize the advantage to cater what I originally intended.

Hope everybody will enjoy the fiction below. There might be contradictory details that could collide with that of the Zone Tamers head author's intended creative ideas or wrong grammatical stuff I missed out. But, I will gladly edit it should I or someone else spot them out.

Of course, unlike :iconkajimotomiya: and :icondigital-warkiller: I do not see myself proficient in fic writing unlike mentioned duo.

Anyhoo, on with the story below~!

Title: The Shadow Parts

Fiction Information: Takes place at the end on Xros Wars Young Hunters' final episode. Set in DXZ Time Hunters canon, the Old Clockmaker and his Clockmon found out their store suddenly unlocked after they closed it. Who opened it? Kindly read on. Music tracks tags also inserted in-between paragraphs to hopefully catch the desired feel as if the reader watches a Digimon anime.

"Hayaku! Hayaku!"

***(BGM: Slow Down, Digimon Xros Wars Young Hunters OST Track # 7)***

"Matte~! Slow down Clockmon~!"

Numerous pedestrians were wide eyed upon the strange twosome that swiftly passed right before their very eyes. It was a skinny, strangely dressed, crimson tinted thick glasses and green cap wearing hermit with a wooden cane clasped on one of his gloved hands. He was being pulled by a strange, over-sized clock creature with its pincer arm. The bizarre duo made their way through the hustle and bustle streets of Tokyo, earning them bewildered and blinking stares from both the surprised pedestrians and average people going about their daily routine. It was a rather bizarre sight that one would not see everyday. Though some youngsters and teens amusingly thought the two were late for some cosplay and anime-manga convention.

The Old Clock Store Owner had recently dropped by to check on Taiki and Yuu moments ago in one of their basketball practices, except for Tagiru who left as the hyperactive Goggle Boy himself saw a glimpse of Gumdramon peeking from the bushes nearby.

It was a 'small' friendly chat, coupled by an 'intriguing' reveal and a caution at the end. Despite the defeat of Quartzmon, along with the disappearance of the DigiQuartz and ultimately the end of the Digimon Hunt, the old man warned that there could be some wild Digimon still lurking around and advised the mentioned youths to maintain their vigilance at all times.

Now, said Clock Store Owner found himself being dragged along through the crowd by his partner, Clockmon. Not heeding the awkward gazes they got from the masses as they dashed along, the elderly man let his Machine type Digital companion lead to where who knows where it wants to.

"Gah, what's the fuss about? I almost got flattened there." Gasped the Clock Store Owner, exhaling a sigh of relief as he, by Lady Luckmon managed to dodge a speeding car by the red light, earning cusses and a dirty finger from the irate driver; Not that he did not mind any of it, anyway.

"A-chichi! Gomenasai~!" The humongous clock apologized, not slowing down as he then led his partner on a corner. "But the shop's been opened~! We must hurry!"

"Wha? No way~!" Came an exclaimed answer from the Clock Store Owner himself. He swore, he had closed down the shop as the recruitment of potential new Digimon Hunters stopped after Tagiru and Arresterdramon SM subdued Quartzmon months ago. Now, it left him puzzled why it was all of a sudden unlocked, as claimed by Clockmon. No average human can gain access to it unless he chose to.

"Ya better believe it! Lookie!" Clockmon halted as they finally made their way to an alley; Typical dark and hidden places where their shop usually materialized during the course of the Hunt.

***(BGM: Fushigina Tokei Ya, Digimon Xros Wars Young Hunters OST Track # 5)***

Taking a small breather from all the mad sprint, the Clock Store Owner affirmed to what Clockmon has been blurting about in a recently panicky way. Nodding and then straightening that red heavily tinted and thick eye glasses by his nose bridge , the two approached that familiar neon light blazoned facade of their super dimensional establishment. It was unlocked indeed, as Clockmon cautiously turned the knob and the wooden door opened with a creak. The Digimon entered first, followed by his human. The door was closed and relocked as the occupants were finally inside.

They looked around, and everything was nearly the same as they left. Those multitudes of wall clocks remain untouched, save for them now dead silent whereas they should remain running. The lamp shade by the wooden desk was also mysteriously lit-on, in contrast that it was supposed to be turned off after the store was closed months ago.

"Everything seems fine---Except the clocks not chiming and the lamp shade. just turned on" Clockmon commented, as it scanned for anything else that maybe out of place. The Clock Store Owner confirmed with a nod, whilst trying to feel things around.

"Clockmon, would you be so kind to check the back for a moment?"

"Hai! A-chichi!" The Machine Type acknowledged, as it hastily went to the back, disappearing from behind those heavy red curtains.

The old man was left all alone. For some moments he was silent and then amusingly chuckled to himself.

The somewhat deeper shadows that shroud the room; and that familiar but concealed presence… He had an inkling who the mystery intruder is~!

"I never expected you drop by suddenly unannounced…. Shinnosuke Reiji."

There was no reply for seconds, until silence has been broke by a sinister youthful chortle.

"Hmhm, so you've noticed, Jiji."

It was indeed the notorious Zone Shadow Tamer himself, Reiji Shinnosuke and his Black Agumon; Both seemingly appeared from out of the thin air. The boy can be seen leaning by the doorway with his arms crossed. Beside him was Black Agumon, who was blinking his yellow eyes out of curiosity about the place and the numerous wall clocks around.

Reiji was still the same as the Clock Store Owner had first met him; Clad in that leather black mantle draped over his shoulder as a make shift cape-cloak of sorts, and that trademark style of his Xros Loader strapped on his gloved right arm whilst his left arm all bandaged up. His upper garment consists of a deep crimson top as undershirt and over it, an untucked loose, white-dark grey color schemed hoodie shirt studded with gold buttons per sides near the hem. His head draped with the same shirt's hood, and those usual red streaked jet black locks styled into peek-a-boo bang that hid his grievous scarring by the right side of his face and eye, with the left carnation cat-slit pool visible and in still healthy condition. His forehead also wrapped in a bandage, and its two long danglings descend down from both sides of his countenance. He also wears the usual dark leather pants, and his feet are still slightly barefooted, albeit bandaged as well.

"Hm, you're here to check on your past self, ne?" The enigmatic hermit asked, sensing of what his "surprise" visitor might came here for. "No worries, I have safely transported back the other you to his original timeline. He won't remember anything by the time he wakes up."

"Good. I appreciate that you fixed that part of the loose end yourself." Reiji replied, though that sharp glare still impaling towards the store owner's direction, as the latter was just standing there calmly with his back facing him. "How convenient of you to save me all the trouble with your inter Zone Space-Time escapades… Emperor."

The old man's ears perked up when he heard what the Shadow Tamer just referred to him. Was this boy also aware of his true former self aside from the ever sharp and deductive Taiki Kudou?

"Nah, I'm just your old fancy Clockmaker." The aged owner cheerily refuted as he turned his bespectacled gaze to the individual behind him.

"Besides, I can't do all that stuff you're talking about." He insisted that he was not the Sage of Death who once lead the reviled Bagra Army, "...It's all Clockmo.."

"..Clockmon more or less could be just your time-space power given husk and sentience." Reiji smirked, cutting the Clock Store Owner's rambling. "Just be modest, Bagramon. Even if you're clad in that decrepit human flesh, I can still 'smell' a bit of your scent. Keep in mind that I have been in the company and dealings with beings of Darkness for years, and developed a sense of 'smell' for Digimon affiliated with the dark overtime. I can recognize them no matter what disguise or form they assume-- As long as they still 'reek' even at the slightest… Like you."

The Clock Store owner was silenced by Reiji's words. Behind those thick, tinted glasses, his own sight met that of the boy's, which was unrelenting and exhibiting dead serious sincerity with an unblinking gaze. Focusing his vision from the shadowy teen to the checkered floor of his store, the old man sighed.

Keeping up with his act seems futile now before this child, he felt. Seemingly ran out out of convincing excuses and fool-proof white lies, the aged man can only let out another chuckle.

***(BGM: Teikoku no Sakubou, Digimon Xros Wars Code 2 OST Track # 20)***

"You're quite an intriguing lad..." He commented, as his voice slowly warped from that occasionally high pitched and gravely one to the unearthly low and demonic tone of his original self.

"...Shinnosuke Reiji."

"Hn. Finally."

"I guess that makes it two now; You and Kudou Taiki, ne?" Bagramon mused at the fact that there are now two individuals who knew of his true and concealed persona.

Reiji swore that the former Bagra Emperor's voice lost much of its old commanding air. Probably a new found humility of sorts brought about by his ultimate defeat at the hands of Shoutmon X7 SM a year ago.

"Since I just answered what you need to know, you owe me answers as well to my question." He then focused back his gaze at Reiji, that lone bloody ruby right eye flaring crimson from behind the lenses.

"Do ask."

"When Quartzmon assimilated the Human World and everything else in it, I sensed a great shift in the Digital World's space-time fabric back then. By chance do you know and have a hand in it?"

The jet black haired teen uncrossed his arms, and then extending his gloved one with the near Darkness Loader identical Xros Loader, sans the bronze protrusions and slightly lighter hue mounted by his wrist. Bagramon looked on as a holographic projection shot out from Reiji's Xros Loader, showing a holographic simulation of the new reformed Digital World under Shoutmon's rule, represented by spherical grid. Four blinking points can be seen from the four corners of the same sphere, as well as two more on its "poles".

"The threat of the DigiQuartz and Quartzmon spilling to the Digital World months ago was a very likely scenario." Reiji explained, recounting the information during his behind-the-scenes operation throughout the tenure of the Digimon Hunt, "As time passed by, more and more Digimon end up in the DigiQuartz. Thereby suggesting that Quartzmon's power, and the DigiQuartz itself maybe penetrating through the barrier that safely separates both the Human World and the Digital World."

"Sou ka." The former Bagra Emperor was intrigued by the boy's theory. He wanted to hear more of this.

"Rather than dismissing such possibility as mere crackpot and ludicrous probability, I personally took steps to counter it should it indeed happen, while that Tagiru kid, Taiki and Dan-san themselves were oblivious about it as their attention was pegged on the Digimon Hunts and the enigmatic DigiQuartz."

"True. I did task them to catch the Digimon lost in the DigiQuartz to prevent Quartzmon from getting stronger. The same goes to the other Hunters." Bagramon affirmed, stroking his old man beard as he reminisced.

"Coincidentally and thankfully," Reiji's face creased with a sinister grin as he explained more. "It also proved advantageous to my plan, which mostly remained unopposed as any of the Goggled punks are kept busy with your little hunting games."

The hologram display then changed, from the spherical grid with the blinking points representing the six coordinates, it then shifted to an image of a hexagonal spire-like structure suspended in mid-air.

"This is the Super Dimensional Space-Time Oscillation Spire." The Shadow Tamer declared proudly, "A modified amalgamation from two technologies I… 'Exported' from two previous Zones. These were in the form of the Dark Tower and the Space-Time Oscillation Bomb."

"I heard about those. They are dangerous machinations from the dimensions where I summoned two of the six Legendary Heroes." Bagramon affirmed about hearing them a bit from his visits from the further time line of Adventure Zone and Savers Zone respectively.

"True, they were at the hands of their creators--- Aspiring conquerors of their own Zone's Digital World." Reiji explicitly spoke, his voice laced with a mocking tone directed to the Demon Lord Digimon, "But alas, like you, they too fell at the hands of their respective reality's Legendary Heroes and their Digimon. How the mighty have fallen as a saying goes."

Reiji was expecting Bagramon to show irritation, though he was surprised that the Sage of Death merely replied with an out-of-character shrug and smile, as if his own loss does not matter to him. The youth can only frown a bit in disappointment.

The jet black haired boy immediately shrugged off his impasse, as he continued with his explanation, "I created six copies of these spires and had my Digimon covertly position them all in each of the six specific coordinates in the Digital World. Utilizing the functions of the spires' templates with some modifications here and there... Together, these were able to seal the Digital World in a temporal pocket dimension upon activation of the seventh and Master Spire installed at your old domain and palace, the Bagra Daimaten. Which, I, by the way... Took residence after you, let's just say, 'departed.'"

Again, Bagramon took no offense, just blinking both the ruby orb and the remaining natural one of his from behind those thick red lenses in silence.

"Betsumon got your tongue?" He asked with a chortle.

"…Riight." Reiji answered in an unimpressed tone. He decided to continue with his explanation, sighing before hand upon realizing there was no way in the Dark Oceans he could ever piss off Old Man Bagramon. The originally diabolical latter must have indeed ironically changed into a humble old Saintmon in human form.

"Basically, 'sealing' the Digital World back then was the only precautionary method to prevent the possibility of Quartzmon ending up assimilating the whole of the Digital World as well should he reach at the peak of his activity. Otherwise, He could have become even more powerful to pose a great threat to the other Zones. Once the seven Spires' effect is in full force, No one in the Digital World can go out to the Human World, as well as go in from there. The Spires themselves were also programmed to deactivate and then self-destruct once the threat of Quartzmon ceased, thereby returning the Digital World back in its original place."

"Hm, omoshiroii." Bagramon replied with a hint of curiosity.

"..The self destruct was also a personal safety measure of mine to prevent my 'little project' from falling into other hands."

The Digital Fallen Angel was amused upon knowing that the Shadow Tamer was capable of doing things he did not expected from before, he'll give credit to the lad with that. But, perhaps what intrigued him the most was a slight glimpse of possibly, selfless decency from the usually villainous youth.

".. Seems you're not a total ruffian after all. To spare the entire Digital World and its inhabitants from ending up in a fate worse than death--- You may have a spark of heroism within you."

"Oh please~! I spend the entire course of the Digimon Hunt tending my wounds in the Digital World." Reiji scoffed, "I did it out of purely personal interest and self-preservation, nothing more."

"Just be modest, Shinnosuke Reiji." Bagramon replied with a grin. It was an ironic verbal touche to Reiji with the modesty thing the latter spouted out earlier.

Meanwhile, Clockmon came back from inspecting the inner sanctum of the shop. The Machine Digimon was surprised to see Reiji conversing with his human, though his focus shifted to the viral Agumon, who had just took one of the clocks off the wall and began to curiously shake it. Worrying about merchandise and property damage, he sweatdropped, and then huffed, giving a miffed chase to the black reptile. The two Digimon ran around in circle, it was probably a funny sight and distraction to behold, but the two humans were too preoccupied talking with one another.

"Hn. Well, enough of it. Reiji snorted, shifting to another subject of their conversation, whilst not letting his mind distracted by the little chase involving his Digimon partner.

"What do you plan to do now that the Digimon Hunt and Quartzmon's threat has long passed? Will you go back to the Digital World and revive your fallen empire back to its former glory? Reclaim your regal title as Digimon King and the Code Crown as well?"

"Iie." The former Digimon King denied, whilst shaking his head slowly. Reiji can sense the now human Bagramon exhibits sincerity with his answer. Judging from the humble tone, he definitely has changed.

***(BGM: Nazo Wo Ou Xros Heart, Digimon Xros Wars Young Hunters OST Track # 11)***

"You see. I'm just your average and humble old Clock Store Owner now, hoho~!" Bagramon or, the Old Clock Store Owner jovially expressed, his voice reverting back to that silly old fart act, oozing with that eccentric cheery spirit.

"Yup, Just a plain old Clock Store Owner who wishes to run into his wayward little brother in this world someday." The old man repeated his statement, and then finally fully turning around and facing the Shadow Tamer with a gleaming beam and a shaky thumbs-up. Reiji merely replied with an arched visible left eyebrow with a big bead of sweat rolling down over his crown of red streaked midnight hair.

"Yare, yare… How the mighty have fallen indeed." Reiji simply sighed and gave it a shrug, unable to fathom Bagramon's significant changes both body and mind.

"Maybe perhaps you gained something with the loss, but, eh. Not that it matters to me. I have something much more interesting to focus about right now."

"Oh? I guess you've found a new world.. Er, Zone." The old man guessed, scratching his ashen bearded chin. "I considered to recruit the 8th Legendary Hero there for the hunt. But, he has yet to start on his journey and has still to save his own world."

"Indeed. A new Zone, a new world~! It will be another step closer to my goals and ambition." Reiji gloated at the thought, excited to see what the new found Zone has to offer to him.

Black Agumon stopped on his track upon hearing his human. With a grin, he handed back the clock to the old man's Machine Digimon and enthusiastically approached his Tamer. Clockmon did the same, after he placed back the stolen clock in its place and stood beside his own partner.

"Goals and ambition… Hmmm." The Old Clockmaker was deep in thought, lifting up his gaze at the ceiling as he deeply brooded. Clockmon followed suit, though, they were cut off when all the wall clocks mysteriously sprang back to life in with all the chimes and tick-tocks.

"Oh, you should... Eh?"

"They're gone! A-Chichi!" Clockmon pointed out in surprise, as Reiji and his Digimon disappeared all of a sudden from where the said duo once stood.

"Now that was a rather super quick exit." The Clock Store Owner muttered, as he scratched his head in confusion. He was supposed to give an advice to Reiji, though it's completely useless now as the Shadow Tamer and his Black Agumon left in a blink, similar to the way they came.

Clockmon and his partner just stood there in stunned silence, in midst of the wall clocks' sounds in the room, still thinking of what to say or do next.

"Hmhmhmhm. Till we meet again… Your Majesty~!"

It was a disembodied parting words belonging to Reiji himself that suddenly spoke from out of nowhere, startling the clock store occupants from their thoughts. The youthful phantom voice chuckled darkly as the owner took his leave to the new Zone. It then faded away after a few moments, in midst of the chimes coming from the clocks.

"So…" Clockmon spoke after Reiji's voice completely faded away. "He's our mystery intruder, ne?"

"Uh-huh." The former Bagramon now human replied, stroking his beard in wonder. He did found the conversation an amusing account, as a hearty laughter escaped his chapped lips.

"An intriguing kid indeed he is. Hohohohoho~!"
